Saga is an AI-powered language learning service that provides interactive conversations, feedback, and learning features. The Service is offered as a research preview and may change over time, including the features available and the quality or style of AI responses.
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You may not share, sell, or transfer your account or subscription to others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that appear to be used by multiple people.
We may offer monthly and annual subscription plans (“Subscription”). Plan details, pricing, and billing frequency are shown at checkout.
If eligible, your Subscription includes a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your payment method will be charged automatically at the end of the trial and your Subscription will begin.
We may limit free trials (for example, to first-time subscribers).
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless you cancel before renewal.
Authentication/account access is handled via Clerk and payments are processed by Stripe (together, “Payment Providers”).
By starting a Subscription, you authorize us and the Payment Providers to charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis in accordance with your chosen plan.
If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and suspend access until payment is received.
You can cancel at any time through your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals.
If you are a consumer and you cancel within 14 days of your first successful payment, you will receive a full refund of amounts paid for the then-current subscription period, even if you have started using the Service. This is in addition to (and does not limit) any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
If you cancel within 14 days, we may end your access to the Service immediately upon cancellation and refund you.
To request a cancellation/refund, use the in-app cancellation flow (if available) or contact felix@saga.study from the email address associated with your account.
You retain ownership of content you submit to the Service, such as messages, prompts, and audio (“User Content”).
We store conversation transcripts and learning-related data to provide the Service and personalize your learning experience (for example, adapting difficulty, feedback, and recommendations).
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, and display your User Content solely to provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service and to comply with law.
As of the Effective date of these Terms, we do not use your transcripts to train general-purpose AI models. If this changes, we will update these Terms and/or our Privacy Policy and provide notice before the change takes effect.
The Service uses AI to generate conversations and feedback. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or inappropriate. You are responsible for how you use the output and for verifying it when necessary.
The Service is provided for educational purposes and does not provide medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice.
We do not guarantee any particular learning outcomes, fluency level, test results, or progress.
You agree not to misuse the Service. You must not:
We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Service.
The Service, including its software, design, text, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
The Service relies on third-party services (including the Payment Providers, hosting, analytics, and AI providers). We are not responsible for outages or failures caused by third parties.
We may modify or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by email or in-app notice). Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, or data.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including mandatory consumer rights, fraud, or willful misconduct).
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection rules in your country of residence may also apply.
